🍴 Feature Restaurant: Salt & Brick
Salt & Brick, tucked into a lively stretch of downtown Calgary, presents a casually elegant dining experience centered on a weekly “fresh‑sheet” menu of shareable small plates reflecting the best of local and seasonal Canadian produce. With a warm, wood‑accented dining room, a vibrant wine bar, and even a hidden speakeasy—Charlie’s Watch Repair—a visit here feels like discovering a culinary treasure trove. Diners consistently praise the inventive menu, warm service, and ever‑changing offerings like the much‑loved duck‑confit tacos and truffle fries.
Beyond the main dining area, the chef’s bar offers front‑row seats to kitchen choreography, where the team crafts dishes with precision and flair—a highlight noted by local food writers. Pricing lands in the moderate premium range (CAN $31–50), but most guests agree the bold flavours, friendly atmosphere, and curated cocktail/wine lineup make it worth every bite. Whether you're preparing for a concert or seeking a refined yet relaxed dinner, Salt & Brick brings creativity and community together for memorable Calgary nights.
