Dealing with the smoke

Calgary's air quality has been terrible the past couple of days. Here's how to deal with the smoke.

Calgary’s air quality was an 11 (really, really bad) yesterday, and a 7 (really bad) today.

Of course, I don’t need to tell you this if you’ve been outside at all in the past 48 hours.

After dealing with smoke in Calgary all summer last year, I invested in two Jaspr Air Filters for my home in case we had another smoky summer in 2025.

I have been amazed these past two days that I haven’t been able to smell even the slightest hint of smoke inside our home because we have been running our two Jaspr Air Filters.

Jasprs were initially built for wildfire smoke, but they can filter out way more.

They filter out fumes and odors, viruses, cleaning chemicals, pet dander, dust, mold and bacteria, and allergens.

Speaking of mold, in only 3 hours, the Jaspr Air Filter removed 100% of the mold in a recent lab test. Just look at these results:

I’m not a doctor, but mold exposure and illness are very real and affect a significant number of people. I’ve been told that it presents as fatigue, brain fog, inflammation, poor memory, headaches or migraines, red eyes, coughing or shortness of breath, sinus congestion, irritability, and more.

Now, if you suffer from any of those symptoms, I’m not saying you have mold illness. Only your doctor can tell you that… but I know I’d rather be filtering any mold OUT of the air rather than breathing it in.

If you don’t filter your air, your lungs will. Look at how much gunk the Jasper filtered out of the air in only 6 months:

If you’re NOT filtering that stuff out of your air, it means YOU are breathing it in! Yuck!

The most surprising aspect of this air filter is its exceptional appearance.

Apple or the legendary Dieter Rams could have designed it.

The Jasprs we have seamlessly blend into our home and are pleasing to look at.

So, as 160+ wildfires rage in Northern Alberta, I’m encouraging you to invest in a Jaspr Air Filter to deal with the smoke and all of the other pollutants that are in the air.

I reached out to Jaspr, and they sent me a $200.00 off coupon code: FROMHERE.
